- Receiving Date: Thursday, Jan 5, 4-6pm
- Pick up date for non-selected work: Monday, Jan 9, 9-11, Thursday, Jan 12, 4-6
- Opening Reception: Thursday, Jan 12, 4-6pm
- Removal Date: Thursday, Mar 30, 2023, 4-6pm
- Accepted works will be posted at clintonartsocietyct.org by 5:00 PM, Sunday, Jan 8
Eligibility
- This exhibition is open to all Members, current in their membership dues. Juror decision is final.
- Works produced in a classroom or during instruction are not eligible.
- Works must be ORIGINAL, two or three dimensional, no bigger than 48” on any side, including frame.
- NO WET PAINTINGS
- All media in drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture are allowed
- No photography, computer art, or giclée.
- Work must be suitably framed, wired, and ready to hang. No brackets or sawtooth hangers or clips.
- Bases are available for Sculpture. Works should be set on a base at Receiving.
- Works that have been previously exhibited in any CAS show are not eligible.
- Work should be completed within the past three years
- Clinton Town Hall is a public space. Work should be suitable for all audiences.
- CAS reserves the right to deny works for entry at Receiving.
Entry & Fees
- Each Member may submit up to two paintings. $20 entry fee for 1st piece, $5 for 2nd piece
- Register your entry online below. Fee is paid at receiving. Tag may be downloaded or completed at receiving.
- Membership must be up to date. Unpaid membership fees will be collected at Receiving and are valid until 12/31/23. Cash or Check payable to Clinton Art Society or online. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
- 20% Commission on all sales
Clinton Art Society assumes no liability for damage, loss, or theft of submitted work. All artists are responsible for insuring their own work and hereby waive and release CAS, its volunteers and Board Members from any and all liability. Artists agree to commit accepted work for the duration of the exhibition. Due to space limitations, please pick up your artwork promptly at the show’s conclusion.
