CAS is delighted to host Danielle DiVito’s solo exhibition at our Liberty Bank satellite gallery. Danielle is a CAS Elected Artist whose paintings are infused with color, light and joy. The gallery space is in the Liberty Bank/Stanton Professional Building at 8 East Main Street, Clinton, CT (enter through the bank at the lower-level lobby). Hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm; Saturdays, 9am – 12pm.
Danielle DiVito Artist Bio
My journey as an artist began with a lifelong love of creativity, inspired by my mother & expressed through sewing, crafting at an early age. After retiring from a career in nursing in 2022, I finally had the opportunity to pursue watercolor painting, initially as a pastime. What began as a new hobby quickly became a passionate artistic pursuit.
Through workshops, classes, plein air experiences, & the generous guidance of many talented artists, I have continued to develop my skills in watercolor & oil painting, landscape & still life. I am drawn to the beauty of the coastline, harbors, boats, & ever-changing light of New England.
Having spent more than 25 years sailing throughout the New England coastline & the British Virgin Islands, the water has become an especially meaningful source of inspiration. Living near the Connecticut shoreline provides endless opportunities to observe & paint the places & moments that hold personal meaning for me.
I am continually grateful to the artists & art communities who have encouraged, challenged, & inspired me along this wonderful & unexpected journ
